Your problems:

• If your books are in a mess:
• You have to sort them out so that you do not pay too much tax, get fined or investigated;
You might be in a hurry to get your accounts filed with the Inland Revenue;
• If you give your books to an Accountant in a mess it is very expensive and you are in a weak bargaining position over his fees;
• If you trust the wrong person to write up your books you could wait a long time and still be in a mess;
Accounting programs are not good for sorting out historical data. Spreadsheets are the best tools and we know how to use them.

Our solutions:

• We sort out your books and organise the raw data (statements, invoices etc.) into useful information;
• We have a 14-day turnaround;
• We are professionally organised and know what we are doing;
• We send you a CD ROM when we return your records by Royal Mail Special Delivery containing industry-standard spreadsheets which any accountant can read, understand and turn into Accounts.

Why you should use a good accountant

Did you know that the Inland Revenue say some small traders and the Self Employed do not have to have Accounts to do their Tax Return? It says so on page SEN1 of the Self Assessment notes.

Our Chairman, David Ross, having worked in the Inland Revenue for 9 years, and for 21 years since in private practice, does not recommend this!

Revenue staff are not paid to help you pay less tax - Accountants are - it is as simple as that. A good accountant does not have to be an expensive one, and you can save money if you let the Accountant do what they like best - selling a small number of hours to each client at a good rate for giving good advice.

Our work is good, but get the Accountant to "breathe on" our figures to stay legal and get the best out of the system.
